Was going to happen eventually anyways, especially after brain augmentation becomes becomes effective. Which sort of already exists, since there aren’t too many jobs left where you’re hireable without a cellphone.

    No, but a large number had chosen to convert to Christianity (at least publicly, if not in private), having foreseen what was gonna happen. See source n° 17 under https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Jewish_conversion_to_Christianity https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Jewish_conversion_t.... Some others desperate few choose to survive by collaborating with the Nazi machine in its horrible endeavors. The parents of George Soros for example were forced to do both.
