      I’m suggesting the government policy of basing their economy on magic beans is reflective of the IQ of their population. The value of bitcoin halved 2 months ago. What would happen in the US if one day the buying power of everyone’s wages and the utility of their savings was halved? Most wouldn’t make rent.

  To me the most questionable thing here seems to be the choice of BitCoin in particular. They will regret it when transaction prices and waiting time go above the roof. There are many cryptocurrencies which are way better than BitCoin and AFAIK they generally grow in tandem.
