NOTHING has changed at Intel. They have grand plans. They've tried these exact same grand plans a decade ago and failed badly. The culture hasn't changed. In fact the minority that warned of exactly what has happened to Intel - the Cassandras who got it right - have all already been driven out of the company. It's now just one single group-think of fail. The proof is in the results which we will NOT KNOW for at least 10, maybe 20 years. The signs so far are not encouraging.
