Why allow job seekers to know your company's salary range and thereby enter a competitive labor bidding war with other companies hiring, when you can just not do so? There are 49 other states from which to fill applicants. That being said, this will only equalize if job seekers from most or all states can get their state to pass similar laws. If that happens, then companies will have no choice but to list out their ranges.
