Apple executive Doug Field joins Ford
- diskzero 5y agoSeems like a great deal for Ford. He started at Ford out of school and stayed for six years. He then spent a decent amount of time in high profile roles at Segway, Tesla, Apple (twice!) and is now back at Ford. I don't think he will get the sort of culture shock some might get when moving from a Silicon Valley company to an employer like Ford.

- abracadaniel 5y agoFord's EV entries look pretty appealing so far, so this seems like a smart move for both. It's encouraging behavior to see from a traditional car manufacturer.
