Often wandered how common sense did not prevail here. In cabin bright lights at night greatly reduce a drivers ability to focus ahead. And for headlights, light in the warm light spectrum were favored so as not jar our eyes vs the LED lights of modern times which are in the cool light spectrum. Maybe I'm just old, but I recall there was a mandate for this stuff by the transportation department/agency?
PS. To my knowledge Mazda is the only manufacturer actively going back to knobs.
