- arthurcolle 5y agoNice work, I remember trying this a while back. Is there a way to increase the stream density on the volumetric version? By the way on the videos in the original post, they look extremely similar to your volumetric one! I know yours predates it - maybe you inspired the volumetric design in the new trailers!
- rezmason 5y agoThanks for expressing interest! You can use the "density" URL variable to multiply the number of volumetric raindrops, like so: https://rezmason.github.io/matrix/?volumetric=true&density=3.5 https://rezmason.github.io/matrix/?volumetric=true&density=3... The full list of parameters is in the README.md at: https://github.com/Rezmason/matrix#readme https://github.com/Rezmason/matrix#readme The similarities you point out are probably because of my recovery of the original font, which is also in the repo, and may soon need some expansion :D
- arthurcolle 5y agoI thought I remembered an issue on your repo where someone asked if there was a way to make it into a screensaver - am I misremembering, or was it removed? and out of curiosity - is that indeed possible or not? I scrolled through the README but maybe missed it. Thanks again!

- rezmason 5y agoYou might be remembering my "WebSaver" project, which I mainly use for my own Macs. https://github.com/Rezmason/websaver https://github.com/Rezmason/websaver
- rezmason 5y agoHuh, new glyphs just dropped. Guess I've got some homework. http://thechoiceisyours.whatisthematrix.com/_nuxt/videos/teaser-intro.mp4 http://thechoiceisyours.whatisthematrix.com/_nuxt/videos/tea...
- ed_db 5y agoThis is fantastic, I was always intrigued if it would be possible to create a similar effect using actual code from Github rather than glyphs.
