The top links all go to CIA website and have loads of PDFs that I think contain Al Qaeda propaganda and news. So don't click on that in the UK, pretty sure it's illegal to download that with our terror laws.
- arthurcolle 5y agowould be quite the kafkaesque irony if they jailed someone for downloading PDFs from https://cia.gov https://cia.gov https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiyfwZVAzGw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eiyfwZVAzGw
- rrsmtz 5y agoGood god, I had no idea how bad the state of personal freedoms is in the UK. That's horrifying. For the curious, parent is talking about this: https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/terrorist-propaganda-law-thought-crime-click-link-online-prison-a8866061.html https://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/terrorist-pr...
- GiorgioG 5y agoI don't think I'd click on any of the links as a US citizen in the USA...I don't want to wind up on any more lists (the assumption being everyone is on one/some lists.)
- bob229 5y agoThe independent is not a serious source and these kind of laws have been tested in court and require terrorist intent. A bad law indeed though
- exolymph 5y agoIn the UK you can be arrested for insulting people on Twitter.
- Daniel_sk 5y agoIt seems the general public of UK already lost the war on terror.
