When did the world become like this?
That people lose their jobs because they believe in something someone else disagrees with?
Disclaimer: the prolife argument is a valid one in this debate and a person shouldn't lose their job for a belief that babies have a right to live
- sneak 5y agoI don't agree with your disclaimer. The world became like this when people realized that simply shutting up and getting along is only acceptable in certain cases (eg taxation levels), not basic things like human rights and equal access to healthcare. People should lose their jobs any time their employer doesn't want to work with them any longer. Freedom of association is important and powerful and everyone has the right to revoke consent at any time.
