Institutional Authority Has Vanished. Wikipedia Points to the Answer
- PaulHoule 5y agoI do a lot of searching for medical and pharmaceutical topics online, not out of hypochondria, but out of curiosity. (e.g. when they have an ad for some new drug on TV I just have to find out what it is.) Bing and Google desperately try to put webmd, cleveland clinic, and other "authoritative sources" above Wikipedia, yet other than the prescribing information or a literature review from pubmed, I never find that kind of source to be more satisfying than Wikipedia. (For one thing, Wikipedia cites its sources.)
