I stopped caring about this issue and immigration in US in general when I saw how media, celebrities and politicians alike weaponized this issue during last administrations mishandling and then stopped caring about it when the regime changed even though the exact set of problems still exist today as the article shows. we have one side of the isle taking advantage of a crisis to use it as a flame war to gain power and other side of the isle in favor of stopping any and all immigration if they can, there is no room for rational dialogue anymore.
