I was a CISSP for 20* years. CPEs are a hassle. Annual fees are a hassle. I missed getting my CPEs during COVID so now their taking my certification away. I’m probably not willing to jump thru hoops to get it back. It was great in my early days. I’d suggest the GIAC line of certifications now.
- system2 5y agoThanks for your input. Are GIACs as recognized as CISSP? There are so many job postings for CISSP, I wonder if high quality employers care more about specific ones rather than mainstream ones.
