- randomswede 5y agoNote that "i.e." is short for "id est" (that is), rather than something that can be interpreted as "for example". And it is not necessarily the case that transacting in crypto currencies preserves your identity, it just takes one mistake, then your no-longer-anonymous transaction that was preserved in IMMUTABLE BLOCKCHAIN FOREVER is there for discovery. So, if I was actually concerned about my privacy and anonymity, I would not transact in (most, at least) cryptos, dealing only in much less traceable cash.
