i suppose life is more satisfying on the surface, when you only need to argue against straw-men, but surely that's a ticking time bomb?
- omarfarooq 5y agohe simultaneously invokes and cries strawmen, the most common of feats
- keymone 5y agoone invokes straw-man and can't recognize when it's being pointed out by example of another, more ridiculous straw-man. sigh. just stop and think for a second. you don't need to go down this road. drop the initial straw-man and try asking a question if you don't understand what's being argued.
- omarfarooq 5y agoThe beginning of the path to transcending the invocation of strawmen, is to identify your own strawmen.
- keymone 5y agoso why don't you? if you're unable to walk back the thread, i'll remind that you were the one who started straw-maning by assuming that i think chainsize alone is the problem with syncing a full node. stop making assumptions and start asking questions.
- omarfarooq 5y agoThe irony deepens. Walk back the thread yourself and notice my opening is a question. You replied with a strawman disguised as a question instead of answering it.
- keymone 5y agoah yes, the "i only asked a question!" defense. immediately followed by "your question was dishonest!" hypocrisy. have a nice day.
- omarfarooq 5y agoIt was completely within your hands to avoid this, by answering the question.
