I used melatonin for about 7 years before i stopped it because it gave me vertigo. I am not 100% sure that melatonin was direct contributor to my vertigo, but my vertigo did get better after i stopped using melatonin. Please research the side effects before you try this. It is not completly harmless because its 'natural'/ otc ect , i think its even regulated in some countries like the UK.
