American Environmentalism Failed
- ch4s3 5y agoThis was an extremely confusing and muddled set of arguments. On the one hand it decries elitist environmentalism and celebrates the Sierra Club stopping nuclear power. It calls Silent Spring elitist and denies the effect of grass root organizing on the formation of the EPA. It calls for “democratization” of the movement but hand waves away what that might mean. Sure we all want clean water and super fund cleanup but it’s not like that isn’t happening slowly and steadily. What is the central argument here?
