I used ZeroTier years ago. At least at the time, on one of my computers it did interfere with my network and I had to uninstall it but I also had a VPN and Docker networking layer on my machine so I'm not sure it was ZeroTier's fault. It has a lot of promise for something like a distributed P2P network. It also has an SDK which I thought would be cool to embed in another app to create kind of a seamless Network.
