I have two System76 laptops I bought over the past 4 years and I love them both. We use them daily for a whole variety of tasks and they've been stable and and have only required minimal attention (OS upgrades, mostly). Can't recommend System76 enough. I use Pop!_OS on all my non-System76 machines as well (an old Alienware desktop, a Lenovo laptop, and the Framework laptop I'm typing this from) and it's been fantastic across the board. Better defaults around privacy and the tendency to simplify power-user features like window-tiling and drop it right into the default interface. It's a great OS. No affiliation, just a customer.
