This is downstream effects of housing crisis. Rents have finally hit a point where even slaving away at minimum wage is not enough. Why live and work in a place where even after full time you will only further go in debt. How about just move to cheaper area or do go in debt but might as well do something less stressful. Either way financial situation is gonna be same.
