That’s changing the conversation isn’t it? The reality is cloud providers have been doing this for over a decade. This is the norm for better or worse. Apple just now implemented this in the most privacy conscious way possible and it seems like they’re taking the brunt of the PR damage. If anything this tells me Apple are trying to do the right thing whereas the other companies didn’t even bother trying. That’s why it’s confusing when people are swearing off Apple and switching to . . . Google? Samsung?
