Maybe deals can be struck with mining plants to provide huge battery backups and wind or solar generation to the local grid of the nearest city or county in return for tax benefits or other incentives. Make it an infrastructure investment with socially oriented parameters, requiring whatever is being built provide some ancillary benefit to the nearby communities, while still allowing miners to profit.
- webinvest 5y agoIf you can’t say how your solution will: 1) increase independence or freedom 2) lower costs to the users 3) improve self-sufficiency 4) improve competition between businesses 5) provide better service without sacrificing any of the above Expect to hear crickets in Texas. For example, Tesla’s democrat angle is climate change / renewable energies and their Republican angle is energy independence.
