Single Instruction Multi Data refers to implementing processing logic that performs the same operation on multiple data. The article seems to be using Multi-SIMD to describe a state of affairs where the processor is capable of determining data-dependence, and splitting out dependency coupled SIMD instructions from non. Those non-coupled instructions get scheduled to run in parallel, but then you're left with these dependent ones to go through serially. Given Quantum teleportation being mentioned, the only thing that even starts to make sense to me is that you're implementing some sort of coupling via entanglement whereby state put in place in the teleporter gets rectified and instantiated in the receiver the moment the prior calculation is done, skipping wire propagation delays. That sounds way too handwavey and dubious for me to even pretend it sounds reasonable. Be kinda cool if it was pulled off though. There's be a bunch of seriously wicked innovations possible if you could feasibly delete a good portion of intermediary interconnects and replace it with spooky action at a distance while still getting reliable results.
