Switzerland just rejected laws bringing food production closer to organic with an organic farm lobbyist arguing they wanted low standards to have a more differentiated product.
In general, I won't support a-la-carte organic and I look forward to paying a premium for tea from any country that achieves full organic production. Given how regional food reputation works, I think countries that lead can seriously drop production and still make a profit, then they have the opportunity to fix their production challenges to be far more profitable than if they raised their production of commodity grade products.
