The big problem (in Brazil at least) is, the bozo president and his entourage elected this medicine as a silver bullet, saying that we didn't need vaccines, didn't need any social isolation (let alone lockdowns), etc. These bozos created a false dichotomy: one thing is to take a chance and swallow some medicine as last-ditch attempt when you have no other known option. They use this reasoning to say nothing else was needed.
