What are some concrete examples of the ruthlessness you mention? More than a few people that identify as Christian are more than willing to ban abortion, as an example. They could care less about what anyone “believes” but will gladly force others to live as they want. How is that any less ruthless than someone losing their job because they went on a racist tirade and let it end up on Instagram? Lgtbq+ have a long history of not even being allowed to acknowledge their nature for fear of violence, actual violence. Losing a job due to anti-lgtbq+ views that are expressed and recorded, and nobody forces anybody to express their opinions, just doesn’t seem ruthless in comparison. I get it that it sends a chilling to those that share those particular ideals but it’s not like they are trying to have civil discourse either.
