Nobody has ever brought up this argument, but isn't it odd, despite all the self imposed backdoors in China, Apple is targeting the us market for the pedophilia

Nobody has ever brought up this argument, but isn't it odd, despite all the self imposed backdoors in China, Apple is targeting the us market for the pedophilia stuff? Why is that so? No such thing for Android. Must be pressure from the government I suppose. Or did they somehow think this would pass the clients sniff test and can be sold as additional safety measure? The real why was never disclosed as far I am aware.
