unlike socialists i think the price of labor is simply the price at which someone accepts working for someone else, agree to by both parties. my price is exceptionally high because i’m highly skilled and intelligent and in demand and the market sets a price for that. if someone has zero discernible skills but the government interferes and pays them more for doing nothing at home than their labor is worth then that’s the issue. my pay is based off supply and demand not stealing and mooching or government fiat and i don’t have the arrogance or tyrranical nature to presume i know the optimal price better than the market does
