Pandemic goes on, people dying everywhere, 30 million without healthcare, even tests costs money. People dont want to risk their lives for dimes. That's the gist of it. In a civilized country, nobody would be working for a few hundred dollars and then trying to gather a few hundred more via 'tips' and still not be able to manage to feed their family with 2 adults working. In US, that's the case. This pandemic has just broke the already dysfunctional service sector which leeched on its customers and food stamps for its employees to be able to stay afloat to maximize its profits
