My next phone was going to be an iphone because I'm tired of all the Google tracking (and Android itself). But now I'm holding up my purchase until they release (or hopefully abort it).
I'm happy to pay more for a robust and privacy protecting device. I won't pay more for the same bullshit.
- mdp2021 5y agoThere are many threads on HN about contemporary pocket-sized personal assistants with telephony not using Google Android or iOS. Some of them are at their early stages, but some may be usable. It is something most of us will have to go to sooner or later.
