Two things come to mind.
1. ASML, the almost monopolistic EUV machine maker is in the Netherlands.
2. I vaguely remember reading about Germany always updating a 10year plan and doing long term actions. I don’t know if that’s true, and if this is part of it.
Even so, it would be nice to have more players in this field.
