If your distribution offers synaptic it helps immensely as a gateway drug to apt/rpm.

But to install it you still need the cli. After that you get a GUI interface to search and install packages
- Macha 5y agoA lot of the "beginner friendly" distros will install a GUI frontend in the default install and label it "software center" or "app store" or similar.
