- istingray 5y agoI'm not a developer, I don't understand CLI, and I can copy paste stuff to the best of my ability. I spent 4 hours getting my Sony XM3 headphones to connect. They finally played sound. I never got the mic to work at all. Linux is not ready for mainstream adoption. The fact that you need to mention 3 packages needed is proof.
- ubermonkey 5y agoI guess it's a matter of what you think of as "as expected." Pairing events, and switching between devices, is a dead easy with Apple gear. Non-Apple peripherals work very very smoothly, too, though when there's an Apple option I tend to pick that because of the additional ease of use. Windows is materially worse. Linux lags Windows.
