Do you sincerely believe the situation is that simple? It's not like they are disabling a feature that has already been around, so how is keeping the status quo 'endangering children'?
- concinds 5y agoIt's quite commonly accepted that stopping the spread of CSAM reduces demand, which has an effect on supply, and directly saves some children's lives from trafficking.
- snovv_crash 5y agoAh, but what about the children oppressed by authoritarian governments? If we give those governments better tools for oppression, does that harm more children than CSAM reduction helps?
