Learning new abstractions is not a good argument though. Did hardware engineers from the pre-OS era complain about Linux / OS hard to understand? In a sense, kubernetes is the new Linux / Bash of our time. If it's painful, maybe it's just the abstraction not done right, but not the fault of abstraction itself.
