  This is great. I think there is a theory going that any tool that exists in Python will eventually be ported to golang (and be 10x better).

    I'm pretty sure that will not happen for the whole ML and data ecosystem in Python. And it's also pretty questionable if everything ported to golang is 10x better. 10x more verbose? Sure!

          So does Go, soon (TM) But it's not really a big deal in either case, I've never seen generics used in Python and aside from when developing libraries I've never needed them in Go.

      time I spend typing: 10%. time I spend thinking about how to optimize slow convoluted pythonic one liners: 60%. seriously people need to get over verbosity. its literally not an issue. problems usually arise from fucking condensed one liners that you need 10 minutes of thinking to unpack. vs oh no.... I need to write 3 additional lines to declare the data's structure..... i'm so slowed down.
