I am a data scientist, at least in some projects.
Data protection software has flagged me and caused major headaches because I have been in posesssion of "Canadian social security numbers". Blatantly false of course, my datasets with gigabytes of telco data contains many number combinations with an unfathomable number of permutations. Those false positives have been extremely annoying and a huge work to clear my name from at work. Needless to say I noped the fuck out of that company after enough of it.
Will this AWS functionality become similar? Are they going to inspect all data at rest?
Okay what about if I encrypt all data at rest then? RDS, Postgres can encrypt for instance.
I have many questions.

From TFA : > When AWS Trust & Safety is made aware of abusive or illegal behavior on AWS services, they act quickly to investigate and engage with customers to take appropriate actions," AWS said in a statement. > "AWS Trust & Safety does not pre-review content hosted by our customers. As AWS continues to expand, we expect this team to continue to grow," it added.
