The article doesn't seem to touch on this, but a psychiatric nurse from Minnesota noted that young children are going as far as resorting to self-harm to cope with the stress they are experiencing. Students are being required to wear the masks and being told that they are responsible for "killing other people around [them]" if they pull their mask down or refuse to wear it.
