You missed the point entirely. I'm talking about globalisation which is in fact an export of Anglo-American culture hiding under the label of economic integration. The quote is from a song by the famous German band Rammstein.
- trutannus 5y agoI'm aware that's a Rammstein song, however American (Anglo-American does not mean what you appear to think it does) culture has little do do with the fact that English is on the list of most spoken languages. The reason for this stems back far before signal transmission was able to deliver the global audience. It comes from colonization by the English, and them installing English government, and as a consequence importing English folk into the territories. This is nothing more than Americentrism.
