What is the legal mechanism that allows this? If I’m not a party to the agreement that says they won’t be sued in the future, how can the agreement enforce that I won’t sue them? Or is it the judges that are saying they won’t hear the case?
- papercrane 5y agoIt's called a "non-consensual third-party release". They're not very common and pretty controversial.
