Ask HN: Will the country you live in ban cryptocurrencies in near-future?
- garbagecoder 5y agoUS, strongly doubt we will ban it unless there is some major event. However, expect we will strongly regulate it and soon.
- kkcorps 5y agoYes, if they had to ban it they would have done it by now. I guess only heavy taxation on gains can be expected. Do people in US have to pay taxes on Crypto gains currently?
- ourcat 5y agoI think countries are more likely to eventually all have their own 'native' coin.
- 248ff 5y agoNo, they'll just continue to tax and (increasingly) regulate the exchange of crypto-currencies.
