I started using Libby a month ago and have probably read ten books since then. It’s awesome how well integrated it is with Kindle. Having multiple books checked out at once combined with the three week return time is very motivating for me to read instead of just scroll away hours on my phone. It’s addicting.
- charles_f 5y agoIntegration with Kindle seems to be an option though. In BC libraries (out of Vancouver Public Library, which is its own overdrive subscription), it is disabled, which makes it much less attractive
- salamandersauce 5y agoIt's only a US thing. Not a per library thing. Kobo has integration with Overdrive/Libby in a number of countries including Canada and you can even check out a book directly on he device. Android eReader are also a thing. I use a couple Boox devices and just run Libby directly on them.
