The article title is "Having SARS-CoV-2 once confers much greater immunity than a vaccine".
By removing the *-CoV-2 bit I though this was about SARS-CoV-1(commonly referred to as SARS) infection giving immunity against SARS-CoV-2(commonly referred to as COVID-19).
- SiempreViernes 5y agoSciencemag usually have titles that don't fit in HN, sacrifices have to be made...
- rbinv 5y agoShould have called it COVID instead, then. "SARS" is way too inaccurate.
- SiempreViernes 5y agoInaccurate? meh, somewhat misleading maybe. And a full "covid" wouldn't fit either, there's not even room to put in a space after the colon. I do agree that it would have been better to cut in the other direction: cov-2 instead of sars.
- belter 5y agoThe title would not fit and I agree that leaving only SARS its confusing. It would be better COVID. Maybe @dang can do something about it.
- cnity 5y agoRight. They should have called it HIV, which is even shorter!
