- gpm 5y agoAutonomous System, it has to do with internet traffic routing. Some real networking person might come and give a better definition than this, but my understanding is basically that where the "internet" is a series of connections between networks and protocols for routing traffic between them, one AS is (as bgp, the routing protocol, views it) one of those networks.
