Windows 10 has it built-in too, try Win+Alt+R.
- MrGilbert 5y agoAddendum: It's part of the XBox game bar. In case you are wondering where your recordings are, press Win+G. It didn't work for me the first time - I had to open the game bar first. Also, I had to focus a Window. I cannot record the full desktop with this technique, so it's not quite the same as the linked application.
- dangelov 5y agoOr Win+Shift+S. I think you need to be on a newer Windows 10 release for it to work. Still not as smooth as on macOS, but getting there.
- sbarre 5y agoI believe Win+Shift+S is only for capturing images, not video. I'm on the latest Windows 10 and I still only see static image capture options.
- spieglt 5y agoThe Windows 10 screen recorder doesn't let you record Windows Explorer.
