I wonder how many engineers quit because of the client-side CSAM scanning, and whether it delays things at Apple.
I know one Apple employee (albeit not an engineer) who already quit, and another two who started looking for other jobs.
- threeseed 5y agoApple has likely been doing server side scanning for years. So if they want to quit because now it’s client side to improve privacy then good luck to them.
