It's pretty sad. People affected by this (Indians) have waited decades in line on temporary work visas for their priority date to become current. Many kids age out of the line and go back to F1 visa or probably just leave for Canada. All because USCIS couldn't process paperwork on time. Surprised by the lack of political will or even mainstream press attention to solve this issue.
