A result is scientific not when experiments confirm it, but only when repeated attempts at disproving it all fail. Without the skeptics, the crackpots, the deniers, there is no science. When vaccines are concerned, the skeptics have been censored and ostracized (generally speaking, not on HN). Therefore, whatever results are claimed to be science are not such, or at least not yet. Relying on anecdotes is the only recourse that we have to restore some semblance of scientific process.
