The DPU: Talk Describes an Engine Powering Data Center Networks
- rektide 5y agoNvidia already bought the greatest company, Mellanox, & thus should not be allowed to by ARM too. ;) BlueField is super interesting, mixing very wide data processing with gobs and gobs of high speed I/O. I'm also just aghast that we let Nvidia by basically the online Infiniband company out there. What are we going to do for high speed RDMA interconnects now? There still feels like nothing even close to infiniband out there. (The BlueField-1 DPU processor was announced by Mellanox in June 2016.)
