Pretty disturbing to see this comment from Takeda and Moderna: “Stainless steel is routinely used in heart valves, joint replacements and metal sutures and staples. As such, it is not expected that injection of the particles identified in these lots in Japan would result in increased medical risk.”
Do they think that most people are too stupid to realize that injected particles are very different from a stationary heart valve?
- spywaregorilla 5y agoAre you too stupid to realize that some particles will fall off an implanted heart valve over time? If you did not know this, consider framing your next comment as a question rather than a bold, insulting assertion.
- dathinab 5y agoA stationary heart valve (and other implants) will "lose" particles due to ware over time.
- criticaltinker 5y agoCan you provide any citation supporting this claim? Are there longitudinal studies proving that these particles do not pose a health risk?
- darig 5y agoYou need a citation for the existence of entropy? lol
- FredPret 5y agoAny material is going to wear out over time if a liquid continuously runs over it. The worn-out particles have to go somewhere
- JoeAltmaier 5y agoThey're not going to be used. So no health problem. Is there any point in banging on about it?
- panny 5y ago>About 500,000 people have received shots from the three suspended Moderna batches
- spoonjim 5y agoOf course, but those particles will be vastly smaller than any burrs from a machine.
