David gerrard has a hard-on for anti cryptocurrency advocates but I can't see anyone else accusing the el Salvador president of being a dictator. Just because he does not agree with his politics and he is from South America he is labelled as a single wannabe dictator.
Seems to me that Gerrard is fighting to stay relevant.

- davidgerard 5y agoThis is the guy who marched armed police and soldiers into Congress to get his budgetary measure passed: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-latin-america-51443830 https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/av/world-latin-america-51443830 Always great when a coiner goes "I stopped reading when I got to [basic historical thing that happened]"
- errantmind 5y agoA 'coiner'? As opposed to a 'no-coiner'? Reeks of bitterness. We don't need needlessly divisive language in a good-faith discussion.
- celticninja 5y agoIt was a political stunt, poorly thought out it may have been but it wasnt a coup to sieze power. He has been fairly elected and with a sizeable majority. You are condeming him not because of the military in parliament, but because of his links to bitcoin. So that stunt is just a smear for you, nothing to do with the actual article. Honestly you used to be a dissenting voice worth reading for a different opinion on cryptocurrency but your posts seem to have less value over time
